Signs, Signs, Everywhere Signs.......

Thought you might enjoy some more "signs" that we have found around town.

This sign was posted on a linen shop. Wonder why you need to have experience in a cosmetic shop?!
"White Fungus with Pear and Chinese Wolfberry".  Mmmm.....

Clay pot lamb with traditional Chinese medicine.  Huh, I was too scared to try it.

Boston.....

Alright, I'm back.  I don't know where I went these last few weeks, but I'm back. Actually, I was in Boston and then just busy.   I know people enjoy seeing pictures and reading about life so I'll try to get back into the swing of things.   I actually enjoy the blog, too so that I can print something out later to have as a hard book and not just on the computer.

I wanted to post some pictures of my time in Boston.  I had a great time and the jet lag wasn't so bad coming bad since I went to bed each night between 7pm-8pm and was only home for a week.  The weather was perfect and I had a great time.  Maybe this will become a tradition!
We went to a farm in Hampton Falls, NH where were went on a tractor ride, got cider donuts and hot cider and got apples.
We met up with Trey's family a couple times.  I got to see one of Jared's Senior Year Football games (actually we arrived at half time due to the worst traffic.  I think every New Englander possible decided that they wanted to go away for Columbus Day weekend.  We were with EVERY SINGLE ONE of them on the Mass Pike.)
Jared goes to a Football kicking camp right near my sister, Jenny's house so we met them at kicking camp and then went out for Mexican.
Homecoming!  It was our 10 year reunion. We had a great turn out and enjoyed our day. The weather was PERFECT!

This was a fun story!  We went to church with the young lady, Megan in the green sweatshirt and her Mom Kathy on the right. I also babysat Megan and her sister from my first semester in college and when she was about 3 years old. Now she's in high school. It was such a blast to see them there!  Kathy grew up in the Philly area so we have some connections that way too since we both went to the same school our whole lives and her mom was my principal.
Jared's football game. I know, I know, it's hard to see but still I wanted a photo!

At the farm in Hampton Falls, NH we saw this cool color looking cauliflower.  Just thought you might want to see, too:)
While I was sitting in miles and miles of traffic going to Jared's football game, I decided that I would take a picture of the Boston skyline.  Such a fabulous city!  If you haven't been, you must go in October.

Seeing family and college friends. Check!

Autumn in New England. Priceless!

It was a great week home.  I'll attach a few pictures once I download them.  For now I"m a bit tired (jet lag but I tried to still go to bed between 7pm and 8pm while I was home so jet lag would be  bit easier this way--I know, I sound like a party!)  I told Trey I'm going to do this every year.  It was super worth it to fly home for a week. I loved every minute of it and am so glad that I did it. I haven't seen fall in New England for about 4 years--it was a great week all around!

There is a season, turn, turn, turn.......

People told us that it was going to cool down here but I'm not sure that I believe them.  It's still pretty darn hot.  Granted it has cooled down from 120 to about 105-110 but still it feels hot.  The mornings have been a bit cooler which is nice.  We got new patio furniture delivered last night which is exciting. Hopefully we can start eating dinner outside soon.

Tonight I fly home to Boston to go to my 10 year reunion at Gordon's Homecoming.  I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends and being back in the New England weather!  Apple pie, picking pumpkins, the smell of fire in the air and wearing sweaters.  All things I love.

It's so hard to say good-bye.....

Tonight we dropped Trey's sister off at her apartment.  We went to Ikea yesterday to get her a mattress and a few other things she wanted to make it feel a bit like home.  Trey didn't know that she was leaving today........he said that he needed to prepare himself for her move:)  We love having her around.  Anyway, we drove her over to campus (our hospital campus), unloaded her bags and helped her set up her bed and shower curtain, etc.  Trey felt badly to leave her there and said that he'll never be able to leave our children at college on their own! It was funny.....we see Min everyday at work and pretty much we'll see her at night to go the gym and on weekends to go to the pool.   What a brother.....we left the guest room open for her so she can come sleep over any time.  Trey goes on a trip for work in November, so I've already told her that she needs to sleep over!  I hate staying home alone.
